It's Time to Link All Your Goals Together - Both Long and Short Term

We all have dreams and many of us have goals. Sometimes we set little goals that are important to us that we will achieve within in the day. For instance making "To Do" lists, we write them down and check them off one-by-one. It's a great way to go grocery shopping in fact. Making your long term goals, well that's a little more complicated and it takes commitment and dedication over a long time to complete them and to achieve or accomplish an important objective, important to us that is.

But, have you ever considered that your short term goals such as your shopping list may not actually coincide with your long term goals, those goals that are dreams, which you have converted into strategic objectives and things you fully plan on achieving in your life? Think about your shopping list for a moment, exactly what is on it? Do you have sodas, snack foods, and other fattening items on it? If you do you might wish to consider how this coincides with your long term goal of losing weight, staying fit and having a better outlook on life.

Do you see the point here? If you are wondering why you are not reaching your life goals fast enough, maybe it is because you are not focusing on the details day-by-day. Now that is not to say that you did not go to gym, work out or eat mostly healthy foods, it's that you are not concentrating or fully committing to the major important goals you have set for yourself. And it does not really matter if you use this grocery store list (short-term goal) and losing weight (long-term goal) as your example, it could just as well be anything.

Please consider all this and if you are having trouble here, perhaps make it a goal to lead a life without hypocrisy too. You are going to have to concentrate, focus on the details and link your short and long term goals together if you wish to reach your dreams. Think on this.
